Service Description:

Employment resources and coaching to find sustainable employment in Ontario
- assessment of skills, interests, and abilities
- job search strategies and support, including resume development and interview preparation
- information about careers and occupations, local labour market, employment opportunities
- help in maintaining employment
- information and referral to other employment and community services
- helps employers find and train workers for employer needs
Better Jobs Ontario (BJO)
Provides funding to eligible unemployed individuals to cover training and living costs, including
- tuition, books
- transportation
- basic living expenses
- additional supports may be available for child care, disability-related needs, and language or skills training
Visiting offices located in Dorchester, Glencoe, Lucan, Parkhill, Komoka, Mount Brydges, Newbury, Wardsville, and Thorndale

Eligibility / Target Population:

Self-service information and resources - Anyone, including people with jobs, those who are under-employed, people looking for work, students, apprentices, internationally trained individuals, employers
Assisted services (such as supported job search, job matching and placement, job retention services) - People who are unemployed and out of school * must be an Ontario citizen 18 years and older, or younger than 18 and a high school graduate, or excused from school under the Ontario Education Act * must be legally entitled to work in Canada and have a valid Social Insurance Number
