Service Description: Treatment program for severe to profound hearing loss in both children and adults

Surgically implanted electronic device provides people with the sensation of hearing by bypassing the damaged part of the inner ear

Fees: Most services covered by OHIP
Application: Medical referral required
Eligibility / Target Population: People with severe to profound hearing loss who obtain limited or no benefit from traditional hearing aids
Consult with program for additional eligibility criteria
Languages: English
Language Notes: Interpretation available upon request for most branches of the London Health Sciences Centre
