Service Description: Indigenous Resource Centre that has support, programs, and services that are culturally appropriate. 

Services available:
  • academic programs
  • information and resources on Indigenous culture and language
  • liaison services between Georgian College staff and Indigenous communities, organizations and individuals
  • Indigenous student advisors
  • college-wide events to promote awareness of cultures and perspectives
  • Niwijiagan Program (Peer Mentor Service)
  • Visiting Elder Program
  • assists with local community-based training initiatives
  • Getsijig (Indigenous education counsellor)
