Position:  Medical Radiation Technologist

Region:  London and Middlesex

Description:  Medical Imaging is an integrated subspecialty based academic department across London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital and University Hospital committed to providing quality-driven patient care. Our multidisciplinary team integrated by 352 staff, 40 Radiologists and Nuclear Medicine Physicians serve clients in Southwestern Ontario, across Canada and internationally with highly specialized imaging in neurology stroke, pediatrics, high risk obstetrical, orthopedic and cardiac imaging. We believe in transformational knowledge, quality improvement and healthcare excellence.

Reporting to the Manager, General Radiology, the Medical Radiation Technologist - Radiography is responsible for performing radiological procedures including, under the supervision of the Manager and/or duty Radiologist, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for the diagnosis of disease as requested by clinical consultants. The successful candidate will ensure that patient care and comfort are maintained at all times and that protection measures are appropriately utilized in order to minimize hazards due to radiation. Successful applicants will be cross trained in Computed Tomography and shifts will be allocated in both modalities.


Salary:  $36.84 - $50.24 per hour

Terms of Employment:  Part-time (up to 22 hours/week)
