Service Description: Provides American Sign Language (ASL) and English instruction to culturally Deaf, and hard of hearing adult newcomers to Canada * teaches daily life skills to help newcomers adapt to living in Canada

Eligibility / Target Population: Adults 18 years of age and older who are culturally Deaf, oral deaf, deafened and hard of hearing, and who include permanent residents of Canada, conventional refugees, some work permit holders, landed immigrants, some minister's permit holders
Languages: English ; French ; American Sign Language (ASL)
Language Notes: French programs, publications, and website * French interpretation available upon request
