Service Description: A weekly in-peron free prenatal group education and nutrition support program for pregnant individuals and young adults (teens) who have a difficult time accessing healthy food * partners or a support person are also encouraged to attend

Sessions cover topics including:
  • healthy eating
  • meal preparation
  • food safety
  • healthy lifestyles
  • making healthy choices
  • pregnancy changes
  • fetal development
  • healthy relationships
  • labour and birth
  • postpartum and newborn care
  • breastfeeding

Healthy food, food vouchers, bus tickets, and free prenatal vitamins offered at each session

Meetings: Offered at various locations in London
Fees: Free
Application: Call or visit website to register
Eligibility / Target Population: Pregnant people who are living on a limited income and may be facing other challenging life situations, such as:
  • difficulty accessing healthy food
  • limited support
  • mental health concerns
  • teenage pregnancy
  • new to Canada

Early registration before 30 weeks gestation is recommended
Languages: English * French * Arabic
Language Notes: Interpreters provided for other languages on request

"About Us"
A free prenatal nutrition program for pregnant women and teens and their partner or support person. Learn about having a healthy baby, how to care for yourself during pregnancy and after baby is born, how to prepare healthy meals, how to make healthy lifestyle choices, and learn about other community programs and supports available to you. At each session we offer healthy food, food vouchers, bus tickets, and free prenatal vitamins. Call to find out if this program is right for you.
